OSUPD Participating in Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Enforcement Campaign

The safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors is our number-one priority. The Ohio State University Division of Police (OSUPD) has joined thousands of other highway safety partners throughout the nation to participate in The National Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign that runs from August 18 through September 3. During this time, OSUPD will have a visible presence on campus to crack down on drunk driving in an effort to enhance safety on our roads.

You’re going places. Get there safely.

Pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists all share the responsibility when traveling on and around campus. By law, bicycles are vehicles and may use the full lane when traveling. Motorists are required to give bicyclists three feet or more when passing. Pedestrians should use marked crosswalks and sidewalks. Whether walking, biking or driving, we all share the road and the responsibility in assuring it’s done safely.
